Split sandstone is frost-resistant natural stone with ÉMI suitability certificate. Its Construction Technological Licence Nr. is A-167/2001.

Its colour: greyish with yellowish and brownish deposit.

Its figures: irregular, smooth or rustic

Thin: 2-4 cm
Thick: 3-6 cm


Application fields: mainly it is used as covering stone but in hewn form as walling stone, too. Excellent for outdoor places (feet, faces, fences, supporting walls), for indoor places (ornamental walls, arches, counters, fireplaces, flower-stands, plashings etc.) and for garden design (garden paths, pavements, paths for cars, paths slabs, stairs and terraces), too.

The thin stone is intended only for covering vertical surfaces, walls and feet.
The thick stone is intended mainly for covering horizontal surfaces, pavements, paths for cars etc..

How to handle the surface
For outdoor covering it is suitable to proof the stones to make them water-repellent and to protect them against weather conditions.

How to clean the stones
Clean the stones with pure water indoor and outdoor, too. Do not use acid and alkali materials, because they change the shades of the stones.
